Steamed Yam Cake

Have some left over of Yam (taro) and decided to make Steamed Yam Cake again but using another recipe.  I like to cut the yam into slightly big chunks as I like to bite into that yummy yam in my mouth!





Just pictures here only as Im sure you will enjoyed viewing my pictures as I was not allowed to copy the recipe I have used for this Steamed Yam Cake.
Nevertheless, you can used my previous Steamed Yam Cake  recipe which is as good too!!

Have you heard of a biscuits called "  squashed fly biscuits" ?  Yes?  No?   What about "Garibaldi biscuits"?  No?  And what about "Raisins biscuits or sultanas biscuits" then?  Yes, right?  Raisins/Sultanas biscuits are quite common for us here and we used to eat this and commonly sold at the supermarkets. When was the last time I made macarons?  Oh....that was years ago in 2011.  It was my first time trying out to bake macarons.  I can't believe it too....first time trying out and everything was smooth sailing for my macarons.  But.... it wasn't so the next time I try out again.  Never been successful after that.  Well, for me, I can say is baking macarons can be based on "luck".  Sometimes, the expertise can have their macarons cracked on top, right? There are many ways to bake macarons; the French, Italian and Swiss.  Which type you are most comfortable with? If you are keen to try out baking macaron, why not try making it in small amount ingredient.  Here I have used Kim of Macaron-Fetish as the ingredient yield only small amount and if it was not success, you won't have to worry of wastage and you can try out again too. Fried Shrimp Balls

I have one  big bag of tiger prawns left over which supposed to cook for the CNY dinner but due to I have been unwell, I have not done any cooking since. Well, instead of cooking my usual sweet and sour prawns or sambal prawns, I have chosen to use  Nami's Fried Shrimp Balls  again because I just love the crisp of the fried panko.
